Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American artist and performer from America. She was best known for portraying Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). The actress also played the main character Jerrica Jem Benton in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida, by the parents Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. Her older sister is Ally. As a child, Aubrey performed with the Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Her speech was the valedictory for her class in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice after which she accepted her role on Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of the TV films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. The Good Mother was the show's second season. she played Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. In 2019 Peeples acknowledged having bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples as one of the best actors below the age of 20 in September 2014
