Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. De La Garza's parents were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. Soon after she made the move to Texas to pursue her medical therapy training at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando, Florida where she performed various acting roles. These included local independent films, as well as world-wide commercials. Despite her small roles, she quickly discovered her passion for acting. When she moved from New York, in 2001, Rosa Santos earned her first role as an actor on All My Children. Throughout the early 2000s she had small parts on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first big series part in the drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to share the screen with some of the most prestigious TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The year 2006 was the time she was A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Then she joined the brief, but short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. She won the Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring role. Her role was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was on NBC's somewhat darker thriller Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano has an Italian father and a brother Cory that is one years older than her. Her family was one of the most religious, conservative families. Milano began her acting career at the age of seven old. She was accompanied by her babysitter on stage for auditions. Of more than a thousand applicants, she was chosen for the audition as one of four. Milano made appearances in adverts at Broadway and in television commercials which included the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
