Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. De La Garza's parents were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on December 26, 1976. Soon after she made the move to Texas to pursue her medical therapy training at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando, Florida where she performed various acting roles. These included local independent films, as well as world-wide commercials. Despite her small roles, she quickly discovered her passion for acting. When she moved from New York, in 2001, Rosa Santos earned her first role as an actor on All My Children. Throughout the early 2000s she had small parts on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first big series part in the drama The Mountain.
